How It Works
What is holding tank Hydro-jettng? Most RV's have two common tanks. One Black and Grey, the two tank service would be the best option for this. This service we will come hydro-jet the insides of your holding tanks with 1500psi of water pressure in your two tanks and back flush your tank several times with a wall of water, eliminating incorrect tank level sensor readings and minimizing in tank build up that create those unpleasant odors. We understand some RV's have more tanks, so we added additional tank services so you can get all of your tanks done at once. General annual tank maintenance is a key to keeping your RV adventures enjoyable.
What is the non-local service? We know Northern Nevada is stretched out over a wide area with long roads connecting towns and cities. If you happen to be in one of the non-local areas we can still come out to you. The flat rate non local service added to a maintenance service helps pay for the fuel and time it takes to get to you. We appreciate your business even if you are little further out of our local reach.
Do i need a fresh water tank sanitize? During the months you dont use your RV, moisture sits with warm temps inside your tank and lines, creating the perfect enviroment for mold and bacteria to form and grow. Even if you don't drink or cook with the water from your faucets, at some point you will come in contact with water out of your RV. We will help you keep everything clean. We will fill your tank and lines with water, use bleach or vinegar as a sanitizer and let that sit in your lines for a few hours. We will remind you that you cant use the water in your coach for several hours. We will come back and drain the tank, lines and flush them out with fresh water or we will give you the option to do it yourself.
What is the Emergency call out charge? A lot of times things happen unexpectedly and are out of our control as RV owners, however we have your back. Finding yourself with a clog in your holding tanks or the sewage isnt draining out of your tank can be a nighmare for any RV owner. Panic can set in wondering what went wrong. With our on call/ emergency service we can come to you anytime after hours to help get you back up and going.
What is the wheel bearing service? This service is for RV trailers, we rely on our RV components to last as long as possible to get us the most out of our coach. Annual maintenance is required on our wheel bearings, unless you are not the weekend warrior then it needs done more often. -Can't i just use the grease fitting on the hub to add more grease? That answer is yes and no. let me explain.. grease wears down over time and we rely on it to keep our bearings lubricated, cooled, and free of moisture. If you use your RV on a regular basis a pump or two of grease in each hub wont hurt every 1000 miles, but too much and you'll be pushing grease out the back hub seal into your brakes. At the minimum you should have your hubs tore down, inspected for wear and damage and packed with fresh grease once a year. We will also look over your suspension and brakes while we have your wheels off as a courtesy inspection. When you book this service, it needs to be booked far enough in advance so we can get the right seals needed for your RV as we dont keep stocked items at this time and will need to order your parts. We have ways of finding the make and model of your axles. -What if it needs more than just new grease and a seal? when we order your seals we will find out if the bearings and cups are available at the same time and we will let you know before your service appointment. If we can't locally get the right bearings and cups needed to do the job, we would be happy to reschedule your service or refund your money. We dont want you stranded so we will make sure all parts are available first.
